it's such a... heart-warming story😈🔪❤

I actually enjoyed other than the issue where I had to deal with the puzzles because I am blind. I am just an entertainer so how I react is my own personal taste hehe.

(a little note for those reading this all my streams are marked 18+ due to my audience so it's best to avoid watching the vods if under 18.)

Part 1: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2029967506

(I stopped at some point so yeah. You'll have to skip and continue with the second part.)

Part 2: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2029967507

I'll probably get to giving the YT video that has the full thing but for now please have the Twitch highlights instead if you're interested.

i liked it! a pretty cute & short christmas tale with fun characters and an interesting story.

the puzzles weren't too difficult, which i appreciate since in development it's easy to just make them "now find an item in a completely random location with no visual cues whatsoever!" (i speak from experience lol), so it was nice that they felt pretty fair. the story is short, but it kept me engaged and made me want to see the maid and two kids get a happy ending. also the boy is really charming lol, he's such a mischievous little gremlin and i love him! i also liked the character portaits, they give them a lot of charm and make them feel more unique. i also also liked how the "help everyone in town with their problems" gimmick is also used in the final stage, just with a different context and a sense of finality. that's pretty clever game design.

if you don't mind constructive criticism, a lot of tiles have some kinda weird passage problems, and the way the player interacts with them also feels pretty random (like only being able to interact when looking at the tile at a specific direction). There's also some spelling mistakes, which don't personally bother me too much but just to let you know. and while i said the puzzles felt fair, there's one or two that had me stuck for a couple minutes, and maybe could've done with more clues. but yeah, overall i liked this and there's definitely care put into it, which is always a win!

(KINDA SPOILERS) also the ending did NOT need to be so dark (and i mean that in the best possible way), oh my gosh-

thank you for playing ^v^ im sorry about the passage problems and spelling mistakes...i should really fix the bugs in my games soooonnn.....but im glad you liked it! i do try to not make a [find item, go there] sorta gameplay loop too much because people complain about those alot which is fair. your jam entry does looking interesting [although i cant play it due to being a silly mac user so ill wait for someone else to play it in a yt video or something T-T] again, thank you for playing, and good luck in the rm horror jam! :)

p.s if your stuck i did put a guide as a devlog ^^^

Hi, I am playing your game. I helped the two brothers to make peace, but I don't understand what I should do next.
The couple won't talk to each other; the bartender is offering the maid a free drink, but she won't accept it; the other stores/houses are closed.

try going to the area with the fountain and getting the flowers, then go to the husband. thank you for playing! your submission for the jam looks cool so far btw [also i was making a game guide, i should finish it then ill upload it]

Thank you, I completed it.

The story is peculiar to say the least. And surreal.

I like the graphics, I suppose you drew the characters? They are nice. I like how you made a game without combat, in fact I too am thinking about making an adventure game with RPG Maker in the future. It was useful to see a “live” example.

There are some parts that you should polish, like some passable tiles that should be impassable, the snow effect that starts before transition to the next screen and some grammar typos. Also notice that the solution to the Air and Water riddle refuses the correct answer if the first letter is not capitalised. I think that you can fix all of this very easily.

Happy developing!

thank you for playing :) i drew the facesets and end cardart but everything is RM XP assests [some edited to fit my characters]

the story..yea ik its a bit weird but i was trying to get it done a little quick because im a bit busy

well this was a game made for the RM horror game mainly, and RM horror games usually dont have combat. ur games look nice so im sure your idea will be nice aswell
